How often do I have to change my password?
You will be prompted to change your password after 90 days. If you do not change your password when prompted, your account will be locked.

How long will my account be active, if I haven't used Guardian for a long time?
If you do not log in for 180 days your account is automatically locked out, and you will have to contact your organization's administrator to allow access.

What are the password requirements?
Passwords are case-sensitive and must have a minimum length of 6 characters. The password you choose must be different from the previous 12 passwords that you have used.

What do I do if I cannot remember by password?
Contact your organization's administrator, and have it reset.

What do I do if I mistyped my password?
You have three attempts to enter your password. After the third attempt you will have to: 1. Wait 20 minutes to try again, or... 2. Contact your organization's administrator to have it reset. If you try again (even with the correct password) before the 20 minute time limit you will be locked out for another 20 minutes.

No, Guardian UserIDs are generated automatically.

Sometimes I have to log in again while working on my application, Why?
Your session will time out after a period of inactivity in your application. You will be redirected to the login page, and a successful login may redirect you to the same point in your application.
